Becoming is a meditation on transformation on the moment between who we were and who we are in the process of becoming something new. 
Burned into live edge Lime wood, this work explores identity as something unstable and evolving, shaped by inner change rather than outward form. 
The piece embraces the permanence of fire and the organic unpredictability of wood. Each mark is deliberate and unrepeatable, mirroring the process of personal change itself. Becoming invites the viewer to sit with uncertainty and recognise transformation as an ongoing, deeply human experience.
